Rolex and the Vienna Philharmonic
Miami has long been a hub for all types of musical performances, including a rich history of classical music. The Miami Design District is the home of the Miami Symphony Orchestra, the official symphony orchestra of the City of Miami. Luxury Swiss’ location in the heart of the Design District puts us at the hub of Miami’s vibrant music scene.
Just last year, the Vienna Philharmonic performed Mahler’s Symphony No. 9 in D Major in neighboring West Palm Beach. Maher composed his symphony in 1909, just four years after Hans Wilsdorf founded Rolex. Mastering the art of musical performance is a journey of a constant drive towards excellence, with musicians and conductors working side by side to perfect their skills. Rolex is committed to perpetual excellence and an unrelenting pursuit of perfection. It’s no wonder, then, that Rolex supports the Vienna Philharmonic, whose rich history and worldwide reputation for excellence parallels Rolex’s deeply held values.

This worldwide event celebrates the music of Johann Strauss, his family and contemporaries. Each year, millions of people in more than 90 countries are able to enjoy the music, which is broadcast live from Vienna’s Musikverein.

“All praise of the Vienna Philharmonic reveals itself as understatement.”
Richard Strauss
